French post-rock trio L’Effondras share mesmerizing Stellar Frequencies Sessions

May 19, 2022
1 min read

Our special guests L’EFFONDRAS have shared a new live session, featuring their unique performances two tracks of their latest album “Anabasis” (released in May 2021) at Cyclorama Studio in Lyon, France.

The white cyclorama provides a blank page filled by a raw, profound and hypnotic sound performance by L’Effondras in their characteristic and indefinable style, somewhere at the crossroads between ambient, noise-rock, post-rock, and blues. This live session is a co-production with the French label Medication Time Records.

“Through our live sessions we strive to put forward bands and places with stories to tell. We are shedding different lights upon spaces by taking them out of their usual context, reimagining them and using them as stages for live performances.” – comments the production team.

The Stellar sessions are also a trans-media project, using a variety of formats and techniques: photography, audio, cassette, vinyl, print, and text. The collective works with artists who experiment, make the project theirs and offer their own vision to make it live.
