FROMAFAR, a Brighton based post-hardcore band, have recently made their debut video available online. The song is called “Bastard Son” and comes from the band’s EP entitled “‘Atheoryforyou'”.

From Afar are a melodic post-hardcore quintet from Brighton, UK who formed less than two years ago but already have an impressive following from various shows and Facebook updates alike. Their debut EP Atheoryforyou is currently ringing its way through our ears here at Hevypetal, and let’s put it this way: we are very, very happy about this situation (even though the whole ‘three track release’ predicament it has created is frustrating us to absolutely no end). A lot of people are quick to say that there is a glass ceiling on hardcore and post-hardcore these days – this band have thoroughly smashed this concept, and left shards of glass inches thick embedded in their competitors in the process.
