FURY OF FIVE resurfaces with IYKYK remix, feat. members of E-Town Concrete, Wisdom in Chains, and more

1 min read

After a hiatus that spanned over two decades, New Jersey’s hardcore stalwarts Fury of Five have come roaring back. Their latest offering is a reimagined version of their track “Feel the Reign,” now going by the acronym “IYKYK.” The remix, streaming now on YouTube, features notable guest appearances from Ant Money (E-Town Concrete), Joe Black (Wisdom in Chains), Shrine B (No Holds Barred), and introduces Ari Fury.

Emerging from a 23-year break, the band rejoined the hardcore scene with an incendiary performance in their hometown of Asbury Park, NJ, last June. Their 5-song EP “Half Past Revenge,” released on March 3, 2023, via Upstate Records, showcases a band that hasn’t missed a beat since their hiatus.

Given the compelling fan response, “Half Past Revenge” is getting a limited edition vinyl picture disc release, restricted to only 200 copies. It’s available for pre-order now and is set to ship by April 15th, a collector’s item that’s likely to be snapped up swiftly.

Fury of Five has been “taking respect since 1994,” and with their latest endeavor, they underline their enduring relevance in a scene that has seen countless fleeting moments.
