I see the warm bodies lying
The floor must be cold cause I see them turning
We only have time to see them gasp
Cause we’re turning in our sleep too
They’ve seen me all along
Just us passing on our way
And they can see inside us
I know they see inside us
And I know that we’ve been lying
And it seems that we’re all dying
And I can see you crying
Oh I can see you crying
And I can’t stand still
As an autumn storm builds, you walk into your childhood home, now abandoned for many years. Leaves pile up next to a broken window and wind whistles against the shattered glass. You feel calm warmth wash over you in waves of childhood memories. With each step further into the house, stabs of dread grow inside you and your breaths grows ragged. You stumble toward your old bedroom and grasp onto the doorway to support yourself. The walls begin to shake, and you want to run back out the way you came, but the house falls down around you.
Ghost Tours is a band from Boise, Idaho, combining elements of post-rock, shoegaze, and melodic post-hardcore. Born in guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Jeff Bull, Jr.’s bedroom, the band now consists of Bull, guitarists Travis Abbott and Jess Greaves, bassist Jake Fredrickson, and drummer Brandon Walker. Bringing together haunting melodies, technical and precise instrumental work, and shakingly heavy undercurrents, Ghost Tours will surprise you at each musical turn and stay with you long after you listen to them.
