Greek hardcore band MY TURN share new single “Indian Eyes”

Four years off the table here on IDIOTEQ, Greek hardcore pack MY TURN are back with new single ‘Indian Eyes’, just released with a lyric video by Lefteris Pasalidis above!

The video features live pictures by George Argyropoulos Photography, John Mak and C. Alossi Photography and album artwork by Habs222. MY TURN‘s album ‘Modern Life’s Massacre‘ will be out on December 15th, 2022 via World’s Appreciated Kitsch Records (tapes) and on CD directly from the band HERE.

Asked about the content behind the new song, the band says that the lyrics for ‘Indian Eyes’ were written a couple of years ago and reflect some personal thoughts concerning modern life’s materialism and the constant struggle of life pursuit.

“The urge to free our minds, unleash our emotions and emancipate ourselves are more present than ever nowadays. All we need is to think out of the box and eventually get out of the box. The title is heavily inspired by the Uniform Choice’s same titled song.’”, says MY TURN‘s vocalist Apostolis.

Lyrics:

It’s a trap, don’t fall for their material life
It’s a trap, throw away their plastic needs
Emancipate yourself, emancipate yourself and breathe
No more restraints, no more bondages

It’s a trap, this world is going down in flames
It’s a trap, they want our minds in chains
Means of production / means of destructio
It’s kill or be killed, let’s get out of it

I see through your Indian eyes
I feel emotions that you hide inside
Look me with your Indian eyes
I feel your vibes, I touch your mind

Feel the vibes, free your mind
Feel the vibes, free your mind

I see through your Indian eyes
I feel emotions that you hide inside
Look me with your Indian eyes
I feel your vibes, I touch your mind
