Greg Ginn (BLACK FLAG) accused of child abuse!

1 min read

Consequence of Sound magazine reported that Marina filed an affidavit in Williamson County Texas District Court on October 10th. She accused her ex-partner of commiting acts of denying food to 10 and 7-year-old daughters, threatening them, harassing them and doing drugs in front of the kids. Her friend launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for Marina’s legal fees.

She states:

“Please grant me an emergency temporary orders hearing so my daughters don’t have to live in fear.”

Greg Ginn has not yet responded.

The aforementioned GoFundMe campaign says as follows:

My friend Marina was married and has two daughters with her ex-husband, who is a famous musician. Her elder daughter is ten years old. I’ve known her since the younger was an infant. She’ll be eight in February. Since I’ve known her, she and her daughters have gone through one horrible thing after another, dealing with him, both before and after the divorce. She’s sought relief from the abuse in many ways, to no avail.

They have begged her again to try and save them. She has filed pro se, but desperately needs funds for an attorney, as well as to fly in witnesses whose testimony could ensure her daughters’ safety; but they are unable to leave work or afford last-minute airfare.

I would love nothing more than to fly there and offer my testimony as to my ongoing knowledge of the abuse, but am without funds also. All I have is my voice and I need to know I did all I could.

Please contact me if you can help in other ways, such as crisis management, frequent flyer miles, hotel credits, attorney representation, or if you have testimony that could help get the girls to safety.

Any funds donated in excess of expenses will be donated to battered women’s shelters.

Time is of the essence, as the court date is imminent.

BLACK FLAG‘s Ron Reyes, who was suddenly kicked out from the band, accused Ginn of threatening his family back in March this year. Go here to read more about the latest switch in the frontman position.
