Grinding crust metal punks VERPEST unleash new filthy album “Misantropie Nabij”

1 min read

Delivering a solid dose of hard-hitting crust with hardcore and grindcore influences, blended with a lethal dosage of filthy metal, “Misantropie Nabij” by VERPEST comes as a hard-hitting offering with lyrics centered on anti-human themes, delving into the hateful behavior of individuals. Today, we’re pleased to give you its first full hearing and a handful of information about their project.

The band came into existence in 2017, and in December of that year, they performed their first gig. The band’s first album, titled “Negenduust Hatespeech,” was self-released on CD in January 2020. However, shortly after the album’s release, the global pandemic struck, and the band was forced to be in lockdown for two years.

Despite the challenging circumstances, the band persisted with rehearsals and writing new songs. In August 2021, VERPEST recorded their second album, “Misantropie Nabij,” which centers on themes of near-misanthropy.

This album is being released on LP by several record labels, including Loner Cult, BRC-30 Productions, EveryDayHate, and Sick Phoque.
