International hardcore band GALEFORCE (ex-TEMPEST) have teamed up with xBYSTANDERx for a new collaborative song “Crying Out”, wrote during Covid-19 by musicians around the world, with all proceeds being donated toward American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Today, we’re giving you an exclusive early listen of the song, along with an insightful behind-the-scenes video above!

The collaboration between GALEFORCE (Italy) and BYSTANDER (USA) came out of a desire for two bands with members spread across the globe to collaborate on something creative during the time of Covid. The song started in Los Angeles, CA, was added to in a Sea Shepherd ship docked in France, made stops in Seattle, Australia and Italy before completion. The music mixes the old school approach of BYSTANDER with the metallic approach of GALEFORCE while the lyrical content weaves through the emotions brought on by the global pandemic.

The bands are releasing the song titled ‘CRYING OUT’ in an effort to raise money for suicide prevention through the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. During the difficult times we are in, lots of people are finding daily life difficult and isolating. If you are one of these people, please reach out to someone. We’re still not in this alone…
