Heavy hardcore/metal mob XIBALBA streaming new EP!

1 min read

Southern California’s XIBALBA today releases their devastating new Diablo, Con Amor… Adios EP through Closed Casket Activities, streaming the record at Metal Injection, as the band takes to the East Coast on a three-city stampede.

One year since the release of their Southern Lord-released Tierra Y Libertad LP, XIBALBA returns with Diablo, Con Amor… Adios, the EP delivering three new tracks of downtuned, thundering riffs and grooves, and inescapably brutal breakdowns the quintet has become known for delivering over the past seven years. As with their prior titles, Diablo, Con Amor… Adios was recorded at The Pit Recording Studio with longtime cohort Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues, Disgrace) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Integrity, Nails, Harm’s Way), XIBABLA also once again secured artwork from Dan Seagrave (Dismember, Entombed, Suffocation) to visually depict the wrath of these three relentless tracks.

Metal Injection is now streaming the full EP, adjoined by this disclaimer:

“XIBALBA’s new EP Diablo, Con Amor… Adios is out today, and if you expected anything less than utter annihilation, you’re out of your mind. The thing I’m really loving about the EP is that it’s short and to the point. XIBALBA wrote a truckload of riffs without a single ounce of fat, stuffed ’em all into three tracks, and unleashed it upon the world.”

by the end of it, definitely grab a copy here.

Diablo, Con Amor… Adios is available on electric blue with olive/blue splatter, orange with bronze splatter, and solid electric blue vinyl color schemes RIGHT HERE.
