Miami noise rock/alt metal powerhouse WRONG (members of TORCHE, ex-Capsule, ex-Kylesa) are streaming a new tune called Culminate, coming from their new record Feel Great, a sonic hammer that will make you feel the exact opposite of great. Slated for an April 13 release via Relapse Records, the album will feature 11 tracks and is detailed via the official press release below.
A moody and eclectic record, albeit the moods are pissed and the eclecticism is different levels of pissed. On Feel Great, WRONG has mastered the arts of bludgeoning groove, riff, tone, and grit, creating eleven songs that are faster, heavier, angrier yet also more melodic than their breakout debut. The album was self-produced by the band and recorded at various studios around Miami with mixing handled by guitarist Ryan Haft and artwork by Rick Smith of TORCHE. WRONG is the exact type of rock band the world needs in 2018, uncompromising, aggressive and ready to tear the whole damn place to bits.

Comprised of four transplants, Bartees Cox, Jr. (guitar, vox) of Yukon, OK, Chris Johns (guitar, vox) of Hockessin, DE, Vishnu Anantha (drums) of Wayne, PA and Bryn Nieboer (bass, vox) of Los Angeles, CA, Stay Inside seeks to tell stories about fighting back and bringing more people into the fold of their impassioned scene. Or as Atwood Magazine described, “the band challenge norms through their embrace of deeper thought and feeling; through their defiance of ‘taboo’ topics and inherent drive to speak out in a climate that is so full of mistrust, anxiety, fear, and doubt.”

Toronto experimental, folk tinged indie rockers OH GERONIMO are streaming their new record “The Sled”.
The Sled traverses the peaks and valleys of companionship, ego, self-perception, and explores what happens when they collide. It was recorded in the spring at Chalet – a wonderful cottage-y studio just outside of Uxbridge, ON. The release of this record will mark a year since half of our band put down their torches — a year that demanded patience, persistence and resiliency. Often times the universe begs us to throw in the towel, but we’re fighters. We will never extinguish the fire, and The Sled solidifies that resolution.

The well-selected array of sounds LEGBITER fuse into their meaty final product serves a refreshing project.
Berlin-based Power-Rock’n-Roll band CHAOS COMMUTE have premiered a new song and music video “Not Alone”. We’re not backing off”. Listen below and go here to see their upcomiing live dates.

[ B O L T ], an instrumental black drone metal band from Duisburg, Germany, are streaming their new record on Narshardaa Records and dunk!records.
( 0 4 ) is the first full-length by [ B O L T ] as a trio. In comparison to their earlier output the sound is more propulsive and structured. Emerging out of oppressive silence and ending up in ecstatic noise and drone,
[ B O L T ] create waving sounds and crushing riffs. The trio presents a set in between the genres of drone, doom and metal. The album was written and recorded in the end of 2016. Mastering was done by Tobias Stieler (Kokomo).

Denver death trio OF FEATHER AND BONE will release their devastating debut LP, Bestial Hymns Of Perversion, through Profound Lore Records in March, this week unveiling a new single from the album. The torrential darkness of the album’s “Hymn Of Perversion” has been premiered through Cvlt Nation feature including an intense cross-examination of the band. The feature accompanying Cvlt Nation’s debut of “Hymn Of Perversion” divulges, “As the follow-up to their lauded debut Embrace The Wretched Flesh, 2018 brings Bestial Hymns Of Perversion kicking, screaming into existence, layering obscene heaviness onto an already hefty sound.” Tune in and experience OF FEATHER AND BONE’s “Hymn Of Perversion” RIGHT HERE.
Vancouver band ACTORS present new single “Face Meets Glass,” premiered via CVLT Nation. The song appears on ACTORS’ debut full-length album It Will Come to You, out March 9th on Artoffact Records. From Vancouver, Canada, ACTORS electrify with a modern take on post-punk. On debut full-length It Will Come to You, anthemic songs evoke the urgency of early-’80s U2 (Boy, October, War) as well as the driving, synth-drenched scores that emanated from that era’s movie screens. As scene authority Post-Punk.com put it, the band conjures “cinematic new-wave… that belongs on a Michael Mann soundtrack.”
Much more than a “retro” act, this is music that stands all on its own, full of life and unforgettable hooks. Perhaps best described as a “post-post-punk” band, ACTORS belongs in the discussion alongside bands of today like The Soft Moon and Cold Cave who are pushing music forward via a deep knowledge of the past.
Bassist Jahmeel Russell is an ex-member of metallic noise-rockers KEN mode and their predecessors in the Winnipeg scene, Kittens.
ACTORS will be touring the US, Canada, and Europe, throughout 2018.
