Indiana’s PISS ANT return with “Fuck Twelve”, a caustic message to the those that exercise abusive power

1 min read

Indiana-based hardcore band, Piss Ant, is back with a vengeance, releasing a fiery new single and music video, “Fuck Twelve“. This intense track, which features a guest spot from Shortest Life, directly confronts those who misuse their power, and is nothing short of hard-hitting.

The lyrics speak to the struggle of finding truth amidst oppressive forces:

“How can I overcome
When you’ve got your foot on the neck of the truth
What has this country become
We need to extract the rotten tooth”

Julian Zapata, the band’s lead singer, explains, “Fuck Twelve is a simple message. The abusive power by those in ‘authority’ have gone too far. There are checks and balances in this world, and now is the time for them to be checked…hard.”

“Fuck Twelve” will be available across all streaming platforms on July 21st, with the option to pre-save it here. Also, Piss Ant’s Summer Promo ‘23, which will be offered on both CD and cassette, is now open for pre-orders here.

PISS ANT

Emerging from Indiana’s rugged cornfields, Piss Ant is poised to unleash their debut, Summer Promo ‘23. Their unique, corn-fed blend of blistering metallic hardcore beatdown embodies the frustrations of a generation who refuse to be silenced, making them a powerful voice for change. Following the footsteps of Sunami, Kind Eyes, and These Streets, Piss Ant is revved up for an audacious takeover with the release of Summer Promo ‘23 on August 4th via Upstate Records.

PISS ANT

After their inaugural show on September 11, 2022, Piss Ant quickly made a name for themselves with their explosive stage presence and audience engagement. Since signing with Upstate Records in early 2023, they are set to spend the summer touring in support of their forthcoming EP, Summer Promo ‘23.
