Melbourne wild fast hardcore punks ENDLESS BORE premiere animated music video “Just Money”

1 min read

Australian fast hardcore group ENDLESS BORE joins us for the official premiere of their animated music video for the wild song “Just Money”, coming from from their self-released EP What Do You Dig For?!

“We commissioned BPMT studios for this who have done a stellar job, taking direction from the lyrics and putting a unique twisted touch on it, superb!” – comments Dave, who’s handling the vocalist duties in ENDLESS BORE. “The song reflects upon the trappings of easy credit (i.e. taking on debt to resolve short-term difficulties, often leading to long-term bigger problems if unchecked). It shares its title with the book by Royce Kurmeloves (obviously a huge influence), which explores how Australia’s citizens have become some of the most indebted people in the world”.

“Got a problem? Throw money at it. That’ll fix it, and if it doesn’t? Chuck some more in. I mean, smoke ’em if you got ’em, right? I’m telling you, like it or not, we are all slaves to the almighty dollar. All that credit is a godsend till you’ve overreached and default on payment. Drowning in debt, it’s a big mess. No one will help. Shit out of luck. Oh, please save me!”

Dave further tells us, “We’re currently busy gearing up for a couple of hometown gigs in Melbourne at the end of this month, the first in over a year due to a change in personnel (welcome aboard Retch), and Covid-19 getting in the way. We’ll then hit the studio (aka our mate Tom’s garage) to record our third album in March. After that, we’re tentatively planning a foray across the border into New South Wales for a weekend tour in April”.

What Do You Dig For?! (released 21/01/22) is available directly from Endless Bore’s Bandcamp on 10″ Lathe Cut Vinyl (almost sold out, be quick), CD or Digital Download.
