Metalcore quintet CAULDRON share new earworm track “I Forgot You Existed (Seattle 1)”

Birmingham-based metalcore group, CAULDRON, has unveiled the official video for their latest singleI Forgot You Existed (Seattle 1)’. The track is available on all major streaming platforms.

The song delves into the theme of underestimating problems, only to have them resurface in more significant ways.

Vocalist Frazer Cassling highlighted the unique clean vocals in this track, noting their attempt to maintain the band’s signature sound while experimenting with a new style. The video was shot at The Litten Tree building in Coventry, a former pub set to be demolished but currently hosting DIY hardcore shows and art exhibitions.

Directed by Sam Kay, who also worked on the band’s earlier singles, the video provides a visual narrative to the track. Watch the full video above.

Fans can look forward to CAULDRON’s debut album, ‘Suicide In The City,’ releasing on 3rd November 2023.

The album, which addresses issues like anxiety, self-worth, and mental health, will be available via The Coming Strife Records in the UK and EU, and Ephyra Records in the US.

Those eager to get their hands on the album can pre-order it now, with options including vinyl, cassette, and a collector’s edition box set.

Produced at Lower Lane Studios by Sam Bloor and mastered by Grant Berry at Fader Mastering, the album is expected to resonate with many due to its poignant messages. Earlier singles from the album garnered attention from outlets such as Lambgoat, KNOTFEST, Brooklyn Vegan, and more.

After successful appearances at various festivals and supporting the Philadelphia metalcore band Kaonashi, CAULDRON is set to embark on a UK/EU tour. The tour kicks off on 24th October in Lyon, FR, and wraps up with an album release show in Birmingham on 17th November.

Members of CAULDRON include Frazer Cassling on vocals, Dec Breckon and Jess Webberley on guitars, Perry Wattis on bass, and Zak Jenkins handling drums and additional vocals.
