Negative Hope Records was established in 2019 as a means to unify a loose-knit gang of friends playing music in Glasgow. With the release of the label’s debut Launch Sampler, the collective’s sound soon presented itself to be guitar-based pop music of a darker persuasion. Genres such as grunge, emo, garage-rock and lo-fi pop all find a home here. Troughout the year, NH artists have enjoyed an upsurge in gig offers and other opportunities.
This sequel to the label’s impactful debut compilation last year features tracks by many of the same artists plus some new additions. It will be released digitally on 4th Sept. Today, we’re celebrating this cool release with a special premiere of a new track ‘Shoulder’ by Western Column!
