New Wave of Hardcore mixtape streaming!

Greek hardcore DIY label World’s Appreciated Kitsch Records has released its new mixtape compilation featuring 22 bands from all over the world of today’s hardcore scene, featuring some exciting new names to check out! The release is limited to 100 copies and is available on pro-printed transparent tapes with on body print. ORDER HERE.

To celebrate, we asked the label’s owner Apostolis to give us his thoughts on this compilation and share his plans for 2021.

“Definitely love comps and I used to release compilations before even the label shaped in the form it is today.” – says Apostolis. “Compilations used to be the best way for someone to discover hardcore music, long before streaming platforms.”

“There’s some hyped and some underrated bands inside, bands from all over the world that I personally dig a lot and have their music on heavy rotation.” – he continues.

“NWOH is my label’s 66th release and I’m very proud of it. It’s my little contribution to the hardcore scene, trying to expose and demonstrate it to everyone that cares. You can grab a tape for cheap and listen to 50’ of music, coming from 22 bands; what better think to do?! Thanks to hardcore and all the bands that still keep the spirit alive!”

As for the nearest future, World’s Appreciated Kitsch Records has 3 relesases scheduled for 2021: Στράφι & Φαλκονέρα 12″s (Greek finest punk rock), Rough Ground 7” (amazing modern hardcore from France), and a limited edition tape of a hip hop project by hardcore scenesters (to be announced).
