1 min read

In an impressive display of collective talent, Hundreds Of AU, comprising former members from esteemed bands such as Hell Mary, The Assistant, You and I, The Banner, Pellinore, Capacities, and Estella, have unveiled their latest offering.

“Year Two”, a track featured on the split 7″ with Horsewhip, released as part of Tor Johnson Records’ 20th-anniversary collection, showcases the band’s dynamic sound. The song opens with a ferocious outpouring of screamo-infused hardcore, before blossoming into majestic bursts of post-metal, layered with ethereal soundscapes, evoking a sense of cosmic wonder.

Lyrics:

year two
of the
new world
or same world
an apathy to suffering
has always been rewarded
and even praised
as bold, as bold.
as dignity and composure
distinguished and reserved
driving towards the sun
with wide open eyes
(disassociate)
to be here
for the
decline
to view
the fall
from the
inside
