Noisy electronic act NOLIFE embarks upon a freewheeling journey on a new EP “You Won’t Survive The State Of New York”

1 min read

New York producer NOLIFE has recently unveiled a disturbing new track and music video called ‘Unkind’, an aurally hypnotizing tune that stands as a compelling snapshot of an artist inspired to blend electronic, trippy hip hop experimentalism with his original ties to punk music. ‘Unkind’ feels impressive in its inventiveness and it’s really worth a check. Listen below and grab the full record at this location or directly through the Young Turks label.

Sean cut his teeth in the upstate New York hardcore / noise scene before moving to NYC where the EP was born. Ultimately though, NOLIFE transcends genre – it’s a movement and a protest – a cathartic and therapeutic release. A reaction to gentrification, urban decay, and political unrest. He has a lot more coming this year – more videos, and some exciting collaborations. Check out the new track below and grab the full EP via your favorite digital music outlet here.

NOLIFE released his debut EP “QUASI-MMKV” in May 2016:
