North Dakota’s alt hardcore punk band GERM CIRCUS drops debut EP

1 min read

When New York hardcore veterans BURN arrived in full back in 1990 with their debut self-titled, the hardcore scene seemed to be refreshed with it. It demonstrated the change in direction, crossing styles, pushing things forward, but continuing to stay outside the mainstream. That’s exactly the case of just 2 songs from North Dakota’s GERM CIRCUS, who have released their debut EP called ‘Lag Phase’. The records funnel a lot of influences into just 2 songs, and thanks to its progressive feel, and a sound reminiscent of your favorite gamechangers from the 90s, it surely deserves to be heard.
