Political rap rockers RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE have announced a handful of reunion shows in 2020 in the US in 2020. The group called it quits in 2000, then reunited again from 2007-2011. Following RATM’s reunion tour announcement, the band’s side-supergroup Prophets of Rage have revealed that the project has come to an end. Chuck D and B-Real confirmed the news on social media this weekend.
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE head out on tour in March 2020, with shows in El Paso, Las Cruces, and Phoenix, as well as two performances at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival:
El Paso, TX March 26, 2020
Las Cruces, NM March 28, 2020
Phoenix, AZ March 30, 2020
Indio, CA April 10, 2020
Indio, CA April 17, 2020
It was about doing something greater than self. 2020 keeping ZDLR spot warm for @RATM & powering a 👊🏿statement for 1000 days was a honorable truth mission in the hours of chaos from the jump… And so the bands rock on…. Let’s go @cypresshill @PublicEnemyFTP @prophetsofrage pic.twitter.com/sFqvwTxfhv

“It’s been an honor to rock stages and people of all ages with these guys. It’s been a great time and great memories in a short time. Rockin along side of Chuck and Tom has been amazing to say the least. It was fun while it lasted and I hope we left a big impression and that the music has been a source of inspiration for those that needed it. That was the purpose we got together.” – B-Real
