Reunion Island post punkish noise rockers PAMPLEMOUSSE release atmospheric debut record

1 min read

Reunion Island might be a great fit if you’re into trekking, volcanic eruptions, and delightful landscapes, but we had no bloody idea what amazing music it had in store for us. La Réunion residents, alt noise rockers PAMPLEMOUSSE, have recently premiered their debut self-titled album and luckily they managed to find IDIOTEQ and show it to us. Continuing their homage to the atmopsheric, raw and ghostly noise rock records from the past, their sound is strangely mesmerising and addictive. The outright dirt of this record brings a delight, as it shifts gears, yet always finds its way back into its main, driving groove. Taste it below and share your thoughts in the comments below.

Geo-curio: Reunion Island is a French island located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar and about 200 km southwest of Mauritius. The island offers extraordinarily landscapes, high volcanic peaks, breathtaking canyons, some of the most active volcanoes in the world, and atmospheric colonial-alike towns.
