Richmond screamo legends CITY OF CATERPILLAR are back – new single “Decider” streaming!

CITY OF CATERPILLAR have announced their first album in 20 years. ‘Mystic Sisters is due September 30 via Relapse Records and the band just shared their new single “Decider”, along with the music video above.

Richmond screamo legends have been reunited for a few years and this year they are finally back with their second-ever album, and first since their classic self-titled 2002 debut LP. Mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley, the record features guest noise violin appearance by Brandon Evans’ former pg.99 bandmate Johnny Ward.

Comments Brandon: “The band is always focused on mood. To me, that’s the most important thing. I don’t really want people dissecting what we’re trying to say, because it’s not really about us. It never has been. What we cared about 20 years ago was innocent, raw emotion, and that’s what we care about now.”
