Cleveland’s veteran metallic hardcore stalwarts Ringworm are back with a fast-paced, crushing single called ‘Thought Crimes‘. This is a precursor to their eagerly anticipated album ‘Seeing Through Fire’, slated for release this August via Nuclear Blast Records.
The band, renowned for their blistering hardcore and thrash-infused metal, is marking their follow-up to 2019’s ‘Death Becomes My Voice’.
With their signing to Nuclear Blast, they’re poised to reach a wider audience. As founding vocalist James ‘Human Furnace’ Bulloch noted, the band appreciates the opportunities a larger platform offers, especially at this stage in their career.
In terms of the upcoming album, Furnace shared their enthusiasm, stating ‘Seeing Through Fire‘ is a “total burner” and an aggressive, ‘smash your face’ type record.
He further explained that while they didn’t seek to “re-invent their wheel”, they did try different things sonically, resulting in a sound that they believe surpasses many of their past works.
In addition to the new single ‘Thought Crimes‘, the band also released a music video for ‘No Solace, No Quarter, No Mercy‘ earlier in June.
