Recorded and mixed by Lorenzo Carlini at Blue Ocean Recording Studio in Rome, Italy, “One Last Drive” from Rome based band BARBED WIRE marks their first full length, to be released in November 2020, but today we’re pleased to give you the band’s first two singles, promising a solid 90s influenced rock album, filled with youthful vitality and showcasing a passionate band capable of creating infectious, organic sounding jangles based on various different influences.
The newest single “No One Cares” tackles strange and tricky relationships between people who don’t think “the same”. Explains the band: “Sometime it’s nearly impossible to find out a solution, ending up in a sort of “no-caring” behavior that makes everything very sad and wrong, people should be united for the same causes and division leads only to alienation and ignorance.”
The release is completely DIY with the kind help of Chillwavve Records and Foreign Girl Records.
Asked about their plans for the coming months, the band commented: “Despite of the COVID problems, we planned the release party at the end on November with some other bands of the scene and if it’ll be possible, we’re planning some dates around Italy to promote this first album that will be released online, in CD and Cassettes.”
