Yekaterinburg, Russia’s trio “ГРЕХ” (GREKH in English) recently released their first s/t EP, a solid 5-tracker that seems to encapsulate most of stuff that makes powerful metallic hardcore such an engrossing listen, showcasing its unrelenting strength and muscular efficiency. this EP will let you hear a nice balance of hardcore riffing combined with some dark vibes that will most definitely have you more fired up than a cup of strong coffee. While ГРЕХ isn’t exactly revolutionary, it has enough grit and energy to make this debut a truly satisfying listen. Check it out and check out the band’s first hand track by track commentary below.

For many people the word “home” is associated with parents and family hearth. When we’re young, we might not like our home, environment, parents, brothers and sisters in protest. Later, after leaving school, a new environment can drastically change your life. However, you should never forget the place where you grew up. Without home you wouldn’t have become the person you are today.

The state and the public are always trying to impose marriage, family, childbirth. However, neither the state, nor society takes into account economic conditions, overpopulation and the willingness of potential parents to be responsible for children and their upbringing. Thus, many young men get married, give birth to children and in a year they get divorced having born one or several taxpayers. And as a result, children are forced to grow up in single-parent families with parents who are still children themselves and who can’t give them good upbringing. Such children become little rude assholes, then they grow up and the circle repeats.

“The first time someone calls you a horse you punch him on the nose, the second time someone calls you a horse you call him a jerk but the third time someone calls you a horse, well then perhaps it’s time to go shopping for a saddle.” No one dares to dictate to anyone how to live! However, to date, the majority agreed with their fate. But this is a dead-end way. The modern state dictates you how to live and how to die. You seem like an obedient doll in the hands of “God” – the president of your country. Life is a game – but are you ready to be an actor in this unfunny comedy?

Nowadays not all but just a few realize that public opinion is an imposed truth from the corrupt media. Such statements as: “the economics is growing”, “there is no demographic crisis”, “consumer prices began to decline” and so on, don’t change the fact that there are still unemployment, abortions and thefts because of poverty in society. And as a result, everyone believes in their own truth, someone sees it on the TV and someone is seeking for the truth looking out of the window. And what is truth – it is only you to decide.
Услужливым не стать (I’ll never be a slave)
I owe nothing to nobody. Duty to God is to go to church, duty to the state – is to join the army. How can this be a duty if I haven’t borrowed anything from anyone? Everyone chooses the path of his life by himself. My own choice is to go or not go to church, to talk or not talk to God, to join the army or not to join. No one has a right to judge me if, at large, I don’t agree with generally accepted social values. The person who lives like this is no friend of mine and I’m not going to follow the same path as others.
