Californian hardcore / punk / rock sensation Scowl has been riding high on the success of their EP Psychic Dance Routine, released April 7th via Flatspot Records. This year, the band has already graced the stages at Coachella and Sick New World, toured the US supporting Show Me The Body, and headlined a series of shows in the UK. Today, Scowl announces an extensive fall headline tour across the United States and Canada, kicking off on September 8th.

The tour will feature the in-demand rockers Militarie Gun as direct support, with alt-punk act MSPAINT and hardcore band Big Laugh opening on selected dates. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 19th at 10AM local time and can be found at scowl40831.com.

Scowl’s electrifying live performances (see loads of recent videos below), which fully embody their unique blend of alternative and hardcore music, contribute to the band’s ambitious 2023 touring schedule. They will soon head to Australia for the first time, touring with Speed and Sunami, followed by several west coast US shows alongside Circle Jerks in July. Additionally, Scowl is set to appear at various festivals, including Reading and Leeds, Back On The Map, Outbreak, Sonic Blast, Furnace Fest, and more. Complete dates are listed below.

Scowl comprises Kat Moss (vocals), Malachi Greene (guitar), Bailey Lupo (bass), Cole Gilbert (drums), and Mikey Bifolco (guitar). BrooklynVegan has described them as “one of the brightest new voices in hardcore,” while NME praises the band’s “laughter, passion, and confidence.” Stereogum highlights Scowl’s “gift for catchy, driving, melodic alt-rock,” while Consequence recognizes them as the driving force behind California’s thriving hardcore scene. Scowl’s music has been described by Alternative Press as “a brutal sonic assault,” and Clash notes the band’s ability to blend “hardcore energy” with a “gleaming pop aspect.”
