SHOW ME THE BODY has just dropped a new track titled “Stomach,” a high-energy collaboration with London’s hardcore punk outfit HIGH VIS. This explosive song serves as the opening track on their forthcoming Corpus II EP II, set to be released on September 27, 2024.

The EP will feature six tracks, each a collaboration with various artists, including B L A C K I E, Special Interest, Spellling, Regional Justice Center, Destiny Yousef, VCR, Corbin, and Nick Hakim.

The music video for “Stomach, directed by SHOW ME THE BODY’s vocalist Julian Pratt, presents a gritty, black-and-white montage of skaters dominating the streets, interspersed with shots of Pratt and HIGH VIS vocalist Graham Sayles navigating their respective cities.

Corpus II EP II is the second installment in the Corpus series, which emphasizes collaboration and community, bringing together artists from different genres and scenes that align with the values and vision of Corpus. The first part of Corpus II EP included collaborations with B L A C K I E, King Yosef, Starker, YL, and ZULU, and this next chapter continues the tradition of boundary-pushing partnerships.

Formed in 2009, SHOW ME THE BODY has long been at the forefront of expanding the limits of the hardcore genre, establishing themselves through intense live performances and deep-rooted involvement in New York’s music scene.

The trio—Julian Cashwan Pratt (banjo, vocals), Harlan Steed (bass), and current drummer Jackie McDermott—has released several EPs and three full-length albums: Body War (2016), Dog Whistle (2019), and their latest, Trouble The Water (2022). Their most recent album pays homage to the city of New York and its sound, reflecting the people and subcultures that form the true foundation of the city.

SHOW ME THE BODY will be hitting the road with the Corpus Grows Tour starting in September, running through early November, with stops in major cities across the U.S. and performances at festivals like Louder Than Life, Furnace Fest, Aftershock, and VIVA PHX. Joining them on tour will be bands like HIGH VIS, BIB, Special Interest, ZelooperZ, Bearcat, and BLACK NOI$E.

The tour is organized in partnership with Corpus NYC, a collective founded by SHOW ME THE BODY in 2015, which has since grown into a global platform supporting youth and DIY creative spaces.
