Ok, here’s a light inspiration for an acoustic cover ;) Minnesota pop-punkers SINGLED OUT out out a video of their lead singer Alex covering Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts”.
The band originally formed in 2009 as Dead On The Dance Floor, but re-emerged last summer with a new name and more concentrated sound, releasing their second E.P Unfamiliar Faces last August. They’ve impressed on a state and national level and have supported genre leaders such as From First To Last, Sleeping With Sirens and Falling in Reverse. This past summer they were one of the breakout bands from this years Warped Tour according to Warped Tour boss Kevin Lyman, who watched their set along with over 550 people who came from the main stage to the Ernie Ball stage to see them play! Singled Out head back to the studio later this year with a view to an early 2013 debut full length.
