Formed only a year ago, SnakeWay has wasted little time charging forward with their brand of metallic hardcore. Easily comparable to their metal-influenced counterparts, the band destroys the trend of becoming as accessible and poppy as possible; creating a brand of hardcore that is as ugly, dark, and in your face as bands like Ringworm, or even Suicidal Tendencies.
Early last year, SnakeWay self-released their debut EP, โYear of the Snakeโ and in true DIY fashion were quick to book shows throughout Texas, including a short run with Merauder.
โYear of the Snakeโ will be digitally re-released and is scheduled to hit iTunes and digital retailers on April 8th. The effort will precede the bandโs next EP, which is already nearing completion with an early Summer release date planned.
