Stencil’s editor in chief commented:

“Hello, and welcome to 2016! The year is already looking great for both new albums, and upcoming tours, so take a look at our highlights section on the right to pick your starting point! With it being a new year, then we of course must bring you some incredible new talent to discover, so read on to check out interviews from Lacey, Like Pacific, Good Tiger, and discover your new favorite band today!

Our main feature comes from Simple Plan, who have spent their career creating anthem after anthem with their highly influential pop rock sound. We discuss their new album ‘Taking One for the Team’, as well as what we can expect from their upcoming UK tour!

We get excited for upcoming tours from The Used, All Time Low & Sum 41 by getting our writers to pick their favorite albums by each artist, so take a look, and let us know which record you’d pick? In our talent feature section we catch up with Dan Mumford (worked with Bring Me The Horizon), David Nykl (Stargate: Atlantis), Ross O’Hennessy (The Musketeers, Da Vinci’s Demons, Game of Thrones), Nigel Dobbyn (worked with 2000AD) and Will Hill (Did art for Mr.Bean) who all elaborate on their careers so far.

It’s been a tragic start to the year with the loss of many incredible icons, so please take a read as we celebrate one of these figures by discussing the life of Lemmy. RIP to all those lost.”
