THE KREUTZER SONATA are back with 12 tracks of poignant hardcore

1 min read

Since 2011, THE KREUTZER SONATA has played a slew of shows in basements and barrooms across the country and has put out a string of releases to fuel their fire. The Rosehill Gates, the band’s third album, finds The Kreutzer Sonata forgoing the verse-chorus form for more experimental song structures, pushing the boundaries of the Hardcore and Street Punk genres. The content of the album is an introspective look at years spent working the night shift at the 4am bar just outside the gates of the Rosehill Cemetery. It is a somber piece reflecting on life as it slips away too fast.

“When confronted with the old scene inquiry, “So, are you street punk or hardcore?” – the band’s music responds, “Why not both?” But with additional pop-punk and crust elements blended in, the band is far from a simple 82′ throwback.” -J. Andrew, Decibel

Don’t Panic Records & Distro has teamed up with No Time Records again to press 500 12″ records with the first 100 on pinwheel pink and blue vinyl along with cassettes, limited to a run of 100. The twelve track album comes out on June 28, 2019 and records are available now on our Bandcamp.

The Kreutzer Sonata will be playing a record release show on July 7th at Liar’s Club in Chicago with The Oi! Scouts, Corrupted Youth, and Uglybones. For more information about the band and their new album, visit www.tkspunks.com.
