It’s been only 10 months since our last mega feature with St. Louis hardcore band SLOW DAMAGE, and it is my pleasure to welcome the band once again and present their new music video for one of the songs featured on their debut EP, released earlier this year on HRTWRK Collective. Watch the “Thief” above and catch the band live at their next show is November 27th at The Sinkhole, Saint Louis, MO. with Bruiser Queen, The Disappeared, and Shit Storm!
Asked about the new song and their plans for th coming months, the band commented:
Thief is one of the tracks from our self titled / debut release we put out earlier this year. The video was shot and produced by guitarist Luca Torretta.
We decided to keep it close to home capturing shots at one of our hometown venues (Fubar Venue & Lounge) that have been hosting punk and metal shows for a little over a decade now. The rest, we wanted to do something fitting for the band on the streets of our hometown, Saint Louis, MO., have some good times and stay away from the forest or whatever those other metal bands keep doing these days.
Thief is a song about lack of sleep, anxiety, struggling with vices and everyday living.
As far as this year goes, we kept busy playing some shows with Fister, Kenmode, Zao, Hollow Earth, Not Waving But Drowning, and a lengthy Black Flag cover set to benefit Stray Rescue of Saint Louis.
We have a 2 song EP set to be released sometime before the end of the year, and we have also began working on a full length.
