Featured on IDIOTEQ in late 2012, Copenhagen’s TOWN PORTAL have recently released their second full length album called “The Occident” through Small Pond Records (UK) and Subsuburban (DK). The band once again proves that despite the whole drama about the stagnation of today’s post rock and progressive music, some artists are still able to deliver an incredibly well-written, very enjoyable instrumental rock album. Though this record is quite complex, it is very calculated to be taken as not forced, but very fresh and natural. Listen below and share it if you like what you hear.
