Dundee folk punk rocker Derrick Johnston (aka TRAGICAL HISTORY TOUR) isย marching towards the release of his new LP “Aphorisms”, and today we’re extremely stoked to offer a sneak peek at what’s to come and premiere his new four track EP “Old Words”. This fella has tons of energy to spare, and despite his tender and heartfelt touch, he knows his way around a vocal hook, and I’m sure you’re going to have his anthemic lines stuck in your head all day. Three of the following tracks were recorded live atย Kesbri Studiosย by Ant Booth. The live recordings include two brand new songs and an acoustic song fromย UNIFORMS,ย Derrick’s gritty punk rock act formed in 2011. The record is available for pre-order at this location.ย Theย โAphorismsโ LP comes out this winter and will be performed at Book Yer Ane Fest XI, an amazing, action packed three-day DIY punk festival hosted by Make-That-A-Take Records, held annually in Dundee, Scotland.
