Triple B Records reissues HAVE HEART’s “What Counts” EP!

1 min read

Massachusetts straight edge hardcore punks from HAVE HEART released this EP back in 2004 via Think Fast! Records! Fast forward to 2014 and it was their last record before they joined Bridge Nine Records‘ roster. Triple B Records is celebrating its 10th anniversary by re-issuing this amazing piece with a new artwork! Check out the official word below and go here to grab your copy!

HAVE HEART

So 2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of Have Hearts debut 7″ “What Counts”. As a celebration, we pressed all the songs from the CD version (7″ + Dig Somewhere Else and Reinforced by Outspoken) onto 1 side of a 12″. These are housed in a badass gatefold jacket featuring new artwork done by myself (Sam BBB) and Pat Flynn of Have Heart. We also got the songs re-mastered over at New Alliance in Cambridge, MA. This thing is badass. All copies come with digital download cards. There are 3 colors available for purchase and are available at a first come, first serve basis. This is a ONE TIME PRESSING. We will not be repressing this so when they’re gone, they’re gone forever. Orders will ship in about 4 weeks (week of 7/21).

Ebay flippers can fuck right off. We didn’t repress this for money. We did this to celebrate the first record of a very important hardcore band. So if your intentions are to buy 8 copies to flip on Ebay, go fist yourself. This is for the kids that would rather listen to hardcore and stage dive on their beds on a Saturday night than go to a shitty frat boy mixer. Because this so called “shit” is what we live for. / Triple B

Boston’s Have Heart is a band has caught the hardcore world by surprise. After releasing a demo and an EP, Have Heart caught the attention of Bridge Nine records and they recorded their debut LPThe Things We Carry in 2006. Since then, Have Heart has been causing a fury with an intelligent, heart-felt, dynamic debut full-length and their passionate & energetic live shows around the globe. Taking the positivity of fellow Massachusetts bands like Bane and In My Eyes, Have Heart also takes influence from bands like Outspoken & Unbroken for a sound that is captivating everyone who hears or sees them. / Bridge9
