TURNSTILE premiere “Look Out For Me” video, new album approaching

2 mins read

Oh yes, oh boy – TURNSTILE are on a wave, especially after that Baltimore show where reels and clips keep flooding social media. The dreamy pop infused hardcore punk rockers have just released a new track, “Look Out For Me,” ahead of their upcoming album Never Enough, which drops June 6th.

The song is out now on streaming platforms and is paired with a video directed by Brendan Yates and Pat McCrory – both core members of the band. The clip is part of TURNSTILE: Never Enough, a 14-song visual album set to premiere June 5th at the Tribeca Festival.

The visual album was directed entirely by Yates and McCrory and will debut as an official Tribeca Festival selection, one day before the full-length LP hits. The trailer, plus Tribeca screening dates and ticketing info, is already available online.

Never Enough was recorded between Los Angeles and the band’s home base in Baltimore, with production led by Brendan Yates. It’s the band’s first full-length since Glow On (2021), which landed them four GRAMMY nominations and pushed their genre-defying sound into a broader spotlight. Alongside “Look Out For Me,” the album includes the previously released double single “Seein’ Stars” / “Birds” and the title track.

The new album won’t be short on ambition. According to the band, it’s a “restless and exhilarating evolution” of their sound. The visual side seems no less crucial this time. The “Look Out For Me” video and the entire Never Enough film appear to be central to how the record is meant to be experienced.

In the lead-up, TURNSTILE played two sold-out shows in California — at Los Angeles’ Ukrainian Cultural Center and Oxnard’s Elks Lodge — following a huge Baltimore set at Wyman Park Dell.

That event pulled over 10,000 people and raised upwards of $50,000 for Healthcare for the Homeless.

The New York release show for Never Enough is booked for June 5th under the K Bridge in Brooklyn and includes Teezo Touchdown, Boy Harsher, and Big Boy.

Internationally, the band has a loaded summer ahead: Primavera Sound (Spain and Portugal), Outbreak Fest (UK), Hellfest (France), Jera On Air (Netherlands), and Glastonbury (UK) are all on the itinerary. European headline shows fill the space between festivals, hitting Greece, Austria, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Poland, and Belgium.

North American festivals like Ottawa Blues, Aftershock in California, and III Points in Miami are locked in for July through October.
