TURNSTILE have shared an official music video for “Bomb / I Don’t Wanna Be Blind,” which is streaming today via Highsnobiety magazine and you can watch it above. The video was directed by photographer and skateboarder Atiba Jefferson, with award-winning cinematographer Ty Evans joining as director of photography. Both Jefferson and Evans have become world renowned for creating and capturing some of skateboarding’s most iconic moments on film.

Turnstile’s Brendan Yates spoke on the experience of working with Jefferson and Evans explaining,

“Working with Atiba, Ty, and everyone involved was a dream come true for us. Everybody brought something unique to building the dynamic of the video. We wanted the flowers to be powerful.”

“Bomb / I Don’t Wanna Be Blind” are featured on Turnstile’s 2018 LP TIME & SPACE, which has earned mid-year accolades as on one of The Best Albums of 2018 So Far. Rolling Stone placed TIME & SPACE on their 50 Best Albums of 2018 So Far recap stating, “Turnstile open the pit to a broader range of sounds and collaborators on their refreshingly free-form major-label debut,” while Billboard placed TIME & SPACE on their 50 Best Albums of 2018 So Far list declaring, “Turnstile’s major-label debut was one of the most-hyped hardcore records in recent memory, and for good reason.” “Turnstile have created a breakthrough effort… and a likely future classic,” avowed Revolver placing Time & Space on their 25 Best Albums of 2018 So Far, with the album also landing on Best of 2018 So Far reviews from Stereogum, UPROXX and NME.

Having recently been profiled by The FADER, Turnstile will head to Philadelphia, PA next month to perform at the Jay-Z curated Made In America Festival (9/1- 9/2), and are set to follow that up with a performance at Tyler, The Creator’s 2018 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles, CA (11/10 – 11/11). Turnstile will then embark on a U.S. tour alongside Every Time I Die, Angel Du$t and Vein, which kicks off November 12th at Chicago, IL’s Metro and continues through mid-December. Tickets for the fall tour go on-sale tomorrow, August 17th at 10:00 AM local time. For more tickets and more information please visit www.turnstilehardcore.com

Always more appeal than demand, more liberation than limitation, Turnstile extended their hand in 2018 with TIME & SPACE. Recorded with producer Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA, TIME & SPACE marks Turnstile’s Roadrunner Records debut and sees the band exploding the most outsized tropes of hardcore with tremendous heart. Comprised of Brendan Yates (Vocals), Franz Lyons (Bass/Vocals), Brady Ebert (Guitars), Pat McCrory (Guitars), and Daniel Fang (Drums), Turnstile’s brand of youth-minded, youth-driven hardcore punk is intent on breaking down barriers, sonically and ideologically. Continuously looking outward, TIME & SPACE is the result of a band operating without boundaries, always growing, always in super-motion.
