1 min read

5 days prior to its official release on 12” vinyl via Truthseeker Music (UK), Hydrogen Man Records (US) and State of Mind Recordings (US), ’Your Mess as Much as Mine’ by Swedish three-piece hardcore band OAK is premiering exclusively below! Mastered by Brad Boatright from Audiosiege, “Your Mess As Much As Mine” proves the band to audibly continue to give their all by serving dramatic dynamic shifts, progressive songwriting and brief, yet monumental arrangements, resulting in one of the most arresting releases of early 2017. Scroll down to listen to the full album now!

The band commented:

We’re so glad to finally get to share this record with the world. ‘Your Mess as Much as Mine’ is our second album and even though it’s just five songs it streches up to almost 20 minutes. We’ve been working on it for a really long time, developing into a more focused and heavier sound. It still has a lot of similarities with our first record but we draw more influence from heavier music we like. There might be less of a screamo feeling to it, but never at the cost of intensity. It was recorded by the same guy we’ve used before (shout out to Ulf Blomberg, Hoborec) and we feel like we’ve really been able to take a step forward with him this time and produce a record that we feel stands out both in quality and aggresiveness. Also Brad Boatright at Audiosiege mastered it, which really helped making it sound as good as possible. We hope you’ll like it as much as we do!

Pre-orders are available at the band’s official merch spot, as well as all three labels’ websites (here, here and here).
