Filled to the brim with “pummeling riffs and a vicious vocal delivery” and a “no-frills death metal charge” (Decibel), UK death metal outfit VENOM PRISONn have teamed up with Decibel Magazine to unveil an advance listen of their charging full-length debut album, Animus, due out worldwide via Prosthetic Records on October 14.
If the album artwork didn’t say it already, Venom Prison don’t pull any punches in the lyrics department, either. Subjects like rape culture, misogyny and religion (and the rejection of it) are the base of L’s vocals / Decibel Magazine
