INVSN release music video for “Immer Zu”

1 min read

Dennis Lyxzén’s side project INVSN has shared the video for the recently unveiled “Immer Zu”, a track featuring vocalists Sara Almgren and Christina Karlsson, serving a quality teaser  for the band’s upcoming album The Beautiful Stories, out June 9th.

Dennis Lyxzén commented:

“We try to do whatever we can and we try to talk about it every night and make people aware of the problem with the patriarchal system. Music for us has always been rooted in the idea of resistance. [It] always worked as a soundtrack to a different kind of life”

Sara Almgren offered the following:

“Since we had written a song about what power and especially patriarchal power means to women, we wanted the video to represent that idea. We asked two friends who never done videos before to come up with an idea and a representation of strong women. We wanted the whole process, from idea to finished video, to be an empowering process with only women involved! The guys had to stay at home, and we made a video with women, for women, by women, about what it means to be a woman in this world.”
