Yay! Our beloved punk rockers HOT WATER MUSIC have announced their new album, Light It Up, a new 12-track anthemic collection of tracks that were self-produced by the band and will hit the streets on September 15th via Rise Records! The record will by their first since 2012’s Exister! The band just premiered a new jam called “Never Going Back” and it can be checked out below!

“The most exciting part about this record for us was self-producing and being in control from start to finish,” the band said about Light It Up. “We haven’t made a record this way since Fuel For the Hate Game. As frightening as it was to not have the safety net and sounding board of a producer, it was just as liberating to make a record that is 100% Hot Water Music, scars and all.”

Here’s the full track listing for the record:

01. Complicated
02. Light It Up
03. Show Your Face
04. Never Going Back
05. Rabbit Key
06. Sympathizer
07. Vultures
08. Bury Your Idols
09. Overload

11. Hold Out
12. Take You Away

Lyrics:

Had a strong reaction waking up
It took a lot of reacting to get up
To walk away with pride intact
Walk away from heart attack
On tight lines of certain wreck and rut

We take our licks and harden up inside
At least for a little while we don’t feel like dying
Slow down my mind for it’ll all subside
The storm is bound to pass in time.

I’m Never Going Back.
I’m Never Going

Back to the alley where I woke
with doldrums I thought I’d never know
Shook it off with a shot of fact,
contemplated a shot to regret,
on tight lines of certain wreck and rut

We take our licks and harden up inside
At least for a little while we don’t feel like dying
Slow down my mind for it’ll all subside
The Storm is bound to pass in time.

If you rest you rust
Trade sorrow in for trust
If you rest you rust
Follow the light out
If you rest you rust
Trade sorrow in for trust
If you rest you rust
Find your ground and follow the light out

I’m Never Going Back.
