UNDEROATH share new single “Generation No Surrender”

2 mins read

UNDEROATH has released their new single, “Generation No Surrender,” alongside an official music video. The track integrates the band’s characteristic mix of heavy metalcore elements and electronic textures. It follows their recent singles “Teeth” and “Survivor’s Guilt.”

Singer Spencer Chamberlain explains the song’s theme: “We wanted to write a song that would be a ripper live — something that moves an entire room. This song is written from the perspective that, if ‘they’ told us the world was ending and the apocalypse was upon us, we wouldn’t be surprised — nor would we run from it. I feel like we’ve reached a point in our lives where nothing surprises us anymore. We’ve all seen and been through a lot of shit, and I fear we’re never told the truth.”

The video for “Generation No Surrender” visually supports this narrative, portraying apocalyptic imagery tied to themes of disillusionment and defiance.

UNDEROATH is currently touring in celebration of the 20th anniversary of They’re Only Chasing Safety. The U.S. leg features Static Dress as the main support act, along with various other guests depending on the location. The tour has included over 35 sold-out dates.

Additionally, the band is confirmed for appearances at Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival on May 10, 2025, and Welcome to Rockville on May 16, 2025.
