LLNN – “The Guardian” video premiere

September 9, 2014
1 min read

I’m super stoked to present you the newest music video from Denmark’s LLNN, your new favourite progressive hardcore act featuring Christian and Rasmus from THE PSYKE PROJECT! Recorded and edited by Rasmus G. Sejersen and Melina Jacobsen, the video promotes the opening track of the band’s new EP “Marks”, which was featured on IDIOTEQ in late July. Grab it, get your physical copy and be on the look for their upcoming 12″ vinyl split release with German downtempo sludge hardcore act GRIM VAN DOOM, as well as my insightful double interview with both bands! Make no mistake about it, their debut tracks will please many fans of apocalyptic, dark hardcore and post metal. It speaks weight and charge and delivers a crushing powerful tone to it. Give this band some well-deserved attention and tell your friends. Nobody should pass on this one.

Here’s the official word issued by LLNN:

We are LLNN. A new Copenhagen based dark hardcore, experimental outfit from Denmark.
This is our first music video for the song “The Guardian” taken from our debut EP “Marks”.
The purpose for the video is to introduce the band in a “live” setting and not include some half-witted side story to it. We want to keep the expression raw and honest in this one.
The video is d.i.y. and is made by our drummer, Rasmus G. Sejersen.
When not playing the drums, Rasmus is a video photographer (music, fashion, brands) and has produced videos for bands like The Secret, Hexis,The Chariot and more.
Since the filming of the video a fourth member has been added to the band.

Lyrics:

The need of substance to life, is a paradox.
Debt, duty and a happy new year.
Making something of yourself is pointless
Selfish asshole, produce kids and rot away to tv-dinners
Fuck you, I’m doing what you’re telling me
Circle jerk with a smile on my face
In the claws of a system I don’t understand
Creativity is cultivated, but I sure dealt the wrong hand
Despair x3
Become a used car salesman
I saw you coming
Dirty and empty
Eyes closed
Free and frail x2
Birth, work, death, repeat x2
