ÄRA KRÂ – “Grauer Sand” track premiere!

November 22, 2015
1 min read
Formed in Berlin in 2010 by members of FUCK YOUR SHADOWS FROM BEHIND and DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT and joined by Filip Hantusch from WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH, Florian Freund from FAREWELL TO WORDS and Julian Dietz from KROMLEK 3 years later, modern post hardcore / metalcore act ÄRA KRÂ are back with a new EP, taking their progressive hardcore to a whole new level, bringing even more interesting blends of melancholic and aggressive elements. I am greatly pleased to give you the second track from this record, revealing some of this unique atmosphere engineered by the band and Simon Hawemann from Sludge Studions (ex-WFAHM), who managed to create an interesting modern dynamic soundscape spiced up with some additional ingredients like piano and strings. Check out their unique mix of storming sounds and subtle atmosphere and tell us what you think in the comments below.

ÄRA KR EP will be ut on December 4th via Through Love Records!

The band’s vocalist Adrian commented on the song:

My mother, i hardly knew her, deceased 2013. With the death of a person you realize that the possibilites getting answers to questions, especially unanswered questions, is gone forever.
I’ve written the lyrics for „Grauer Sand“ on mother’s day last year.cleardot
