Almost one year from the release of their music video for the track “From the Buried to the Fool”, emotional modern post hardcore band JARHEAD is back with their new EP “Wistful Addictions”, featuring 4 other tracks of mixed atmopshering drawing from melodic hardcore and even straight rock components. The EP works not because it feels really well-thought-out, but because beneath the obvious comparisons, you can sense the band’s genuine enthusiasm for cross-genre forms and hearty atmospherics they are exploring so vigorously.
