Berlin melodic punks VAL SINESTRA premiere new video for the explosive new track “Schatten”

1 min read

VAL SINESTRA manage the balancing act between sweaty basement clubs and big festival stages. Between the idealism of hardcore and the sing-a-long parts of a rock band. For the village punks on the run and the energetic rocker with long hair. “Schatten” marks their first single of the upcoming album “Zerlegung“, to be released on This Charming Man Records on November 27th, 2020, and today we’re stoked to give you the first viewing of its official visualizer above!

VAL SINESTRA  sound like Refused and The Bronx were at a concert of Turbonegro together and then went around the Berlin houses for a long time afterwards. During the concert, the sweat of every single concert-goer turns into gasoline, which ignites after the first song and ends in complete chaos. Dirty, but with charm. Playful, but catchy. This is how it sounds when you listen to the new material of the band.

This may not suit everybody. Not everybody may understand that. But the adrenaline rush pressed on record burns itself into the brains of their critics. Whether they like it or not? Does not matter. “We don’t meet a zeitgeist, we do what we like!”

The band comments: “People define who they are, what they stand for, what they want and what they don’t. But it’s a difficult road, & one that may never end. The separation from society and its influences begins in young adolescence, for some as young children and mostly never ends, too often unfortunately with a first job, having children, and so on at each life hurdle. This everyday struggle with oneself and one’s environment. That’s what it is all about.”
