CHAMPION re-issues

1 min read

Bridge Nine Records will be re-issuing two albums from Seattle’s legendary CHAMPION.

Get the new stuff here.

Here are the descriptions:

Champion- Time Slips Away

“Time Slips Away” is the 13 song re-issue of CHAMPION’s first two EP’s, “Come Out Swinging” and “Count Our Numbers”, previously released on Bridge Nine. If “Promises Kept” was your introduction to CHAMPION, check out their previous efforts, originally released in 2001 and 2002, respectively. Fast, melodic straight-edge hardcore from Seattle that set the groundwork for bands like Comeback Kid and Have Heart.

Champion Promises Kept CD (Remixed/Remastered!)

This is a new mix/mastering of CHAMPION’s only LP. After 2 well received EPs on Bridge Nine Records, CHAMPION came out East to record with Kurt Ballou (Converge) at God City Studios (Give Up The Ghost, Carry On, The Hope Conspiracy, Converge). Their rigorous touring schedule forced the band and studio to rush out a final mix and master that neither the band nor Ballou liked. Bridge Nine, Champion & Kurt Ballou are all happy to release the ultimate version of Promises Kept, sounding the way it should. Remastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance and remixed by Kurt Ballou, this is a timeless cornerstone of hardcore and Bridge Nine’s history.
