CODE ORANGE return with new singles, “Grooming My Replacement” and “The Game”

The acclaimed metalcore trailblazers Code Orange have unleashed two new singles titled “Grooming My Replacement” and “The Game” through Blue Grape Music. According to the band’s frontman, Jami Morgan, these tracks embody the tumultuous psyche of a group evading its past and future.

With their organic yet anxious production and harmonious collision of chaotic riffs, the songs act as the fortified cocoon that safeguards the forthcoming beauty. Additionally, the band has treated fans to captivating visualizers for both tracks.

The release of these two singles follows the unveiling of Code Orange’s “What Is Really Underneath?”. This remarkable offering, which combines remixes and a soundtrack, serves as a companion to their acclaimed 2020 album, “Underneath“. Released earlier this year in February, “What Is Really Underneath?” delves deeper into the immersive universe of “Underneath” and is accompanied by a captivating fourteen-minute animated short film.

Underneath” itself garnered widespread acclaim, earning the band a Grammy nomination. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Code Orange managed to impress audiences with groundbreaking live-stream performances, shared stages with notable acts like Slipknot, $UICIDEBOY$, and KORN, made their Coachella debut, and more. In February, they provided a tantalizing preview with “What Is Really Underneath?”, and now the band has officially unleashed their latest creations in the form of two brand-new singles.

Frontman Jami Morgan, known for his enigmatic nature, tantalizingly describes the songs as “the bug infested subconscious of a band on the run from its past and future.” With these intriguing words, listeners are left to decipher their meaning for themselves.

Beyond their UK appearance, Code Orange has secured additional notable dates in their tour schedule. They are scheduled to perform at France’s esteemed Hellfest and will co-headline German shows with the band Loathe. The following are the upcoming tour dates for Code Orange:
