COLD SUMMER release “The Fallen” video

1 min read

COLD SUMMER, a rock / post hardcore band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, have released the official video for their song “The Fallen”,  the opening track from their self titled album. The video has been put together using footage collected from live shows and events during their week long tour last month, where the band visited Lounge 41 (Workington), The Zombie Hut, (Corby), Ships & Giggles (Preston), The Old Blue Last (London), The Hobgoblin (Bath) & The Riverside (Selby). In support of the videos release, the band are offering a digital download of ‘The Fallen’ via the bands bandcamp!

Check out my interview with COLD SUMMER at this location.

The band has three upcoming shows before they enter the studio to start work on their follow up to ‘Self Titled’:
Friday 28th March – The Black Bull, Castleford
Saturday 20th April – The Riverside, Selby
Friday 25th April – The Zombie Hut, Corby

COLD SUMMER dynamically developing a not quite revivalist or strictly modern ‘post hardcore’ sound but confidently one they can call their own. Following the self release of two EP’s, ‘Transitions’ and ‘Wake’ during 2012, the band have self released their debut album back in July 2013 and have it currently available to download via their bandcamp with The Fallen available as a free downloadable track.

The record was completed in two recording sessions during 2012 with Bob Cooper (NAI HARVEST, HAWK EYES, GINGER WILDHEART, SELF DEFENSE FAMILY) at Chairworks studio, Castleford. Last year the band have been seen supporting, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, LEMURIA, BLITZ KIDS and POLAR. The band has started 2014 with a week long tour in February.
