Almost 1,5 year after their debut EP premiere here on IDIOTEQ, German gritty post hardcore band I RECOVER have premiered a new 7″ called ‘Searching For You’, available digitally below and on vinyl throughย Boslevan Records, Dingleberry Records, Pifia Records and Cosmic Note. The EP contains four gritty punk rock / melodic hardcore songs recorded at The ’79 Sound, mixed/mastered at The Atomic Garden Recording Studio, and can be hear in its entirety below! The recordย doesnโt quite retain the piss of its more violent predecessors, but itโs still absolutely exhilarating. I RECOVER recall the sound of the 90s and make it sound vital and fresh, making their new 7”ย a welcome comeback surprise.
The band commented:
This might sound like band talk, but we genuinely feel this 7″ is an improvement over the first one in every aspect and we’re really proud of that. It also feels very personal, because in the true spirit of DIY we took care of as many things as possible ourselves. The packaging also turned out quite beautiful, not least due to the superior craftsmanship at Pressure & Ink Screenprinting. Just check it out yourselves, maybe you like what you hear/see!
