Connecticut hardcore band HARD FEELINGS strikes back with new single “Pray for Forgiveness”, new EP coming up

1 min read

The Connecticut-based hardcore-punk outfit Hard Feelings has just released their scalding new single, “Pray for Forgiveness,” offering fans a glimpse into their forthcoming EP, ‘The Devil You Know,’ due out September 29th on Heroes + Martyrs.

Right off the bat, “Pray for Forgiveness” launches into a relentless sonic assault featuring menacing guitars and blistering vocals, drawing comparisons to hardcore luminaries like Death Threat and End It. This follows the earlier release of the single “Living Hell,” setting the stage for an EP that promises a turbulent, no-holds-barred listening experience.

Speaking about the thematic undercurrents of the upcoming EP, the band shares, “Our goal is always to create an outlet for people to be able to listen and relate to what we’re putting out. We ourselves use it as an outlet to be able to take out the frustrations of everyday life. Life can be Hell. Waking up every day and being slapped in the face by the world all while struggling with the devil on your shoulder.”

‘The Devil You Know’ was expertly recorded and mixed by Will Hirst of Gate 4 Studio and mastered by the revered Brad Boatright of Audiosiege. Fans can pre-order the EP now through Heroes + Martyrs, setting their expectations high for a release that aims to be both a cathartic outlet and a poignant commentary on the human condition.
